Dear Parents,

I am excited to begin my 5th season as the middle school head wrestling coach at McCormick. I believe wrestling teaches student athletes about the importance of being disciplined, commitment, perseverance and integrity, which are qualities that will last a lifetime. I also believe that parents are an important factor in their student athlete’s successes. Because of this, I would like to ask you to encourage your student athlete to set personal goals for this season. Wrestling is a very complex sport, which requires many skills to be learned in sequences. Learning these necessary skills and work habits to become a successful wrestler takes time and perseverance.

I look forward to working with you this season. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Many times simple communication can prevent situations or concerns from escalating into bigger problems. I believe that successful organizations have trusting and unified relations as main ingredients for success. Together we will make McCormick wrestling a better program for the future to come. Welcome to the team!
