Summer New Student Registration Procedures

If you are new to the district and need to register your student for the 2020-2021 school year, please follow the procedures outlined here. 

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing directives, we would prefer for your registration process to be completed via phone and email if at all possible.

 

1.  Please call McCormick at 307-771-2650.  Our clerical staff will discuss options to best meet your needs.  

2.  Complete the Online Registration.

3.  Complete the Student Information Sheet and Course Selection sheet.

4.  Provide copies of your student's birth certificate, immunizations, and proof of address (Acceptable forms of proof are: Black Hills Energy, Lease Agreement, Mortgage statement)

5.  Make an appointment with our 7th or 8th grade counselor.  Appointments will be scheduled for August 2020.

McCormick is a registration site for elementary students during the summer.  We will walk you through the process, collect your forms, and forward them to your neighborhood elementary school for safe keeping until they return in early August.

3.  Complete the Elementary Information Sheet (complete one for each student K-6)

4.  Provide copies of your student's birth certificate, immunizations, and proof of address (Acceptable forms of proof are: Black Hills Energy, Lease Agreement, Mortgage statement)

5.  Go to your neighborhood school on the first day of elementary address verification (August 4th and 5th) and provide the most current proof of residency.
