Activities Planned at McCormick
April is Month of the Military Child and as a Purple Star School we will be celebrating and recognizing our military connected students.
On April 14th we will be asking students and staff to wear purple (color designated to represent the military child) and have our military connected students participate in a Warrior Pride Parade prior to the start of school. We will have announcements during the week of April 10th explaining this to our students and letting students know that if they would like to participate to report to the lobby on the morning of the 14th.
Our Student to Student club has prepared thank you cards for these students which they will present to them on the 14th.
We will also have a world map hung in the library for military connected students to add a sticker to locations they have lived during their lives.
